Alex Sheen: The Power Of "Because I Said I Would"
Alex Sheen is a former co-worker of mine at Hyland Software who founded because i said i would. If you have not visited the website, I strongly encourage you to do so.
Even though this has absolutely nothing to do with football, I wanted to share Alex's tremendous gifts of empathy and caring on this blog.

Congratulations To Orlando Pace
Today, a great wrong has been corrected, with the news of legendary Ohio State offensive lineman Orlando Pace's election to the College Football Hall Of Fame. How it took this long is beyond me.
Pace was arguably the most dominant offensive lineman during his career, and one could make valid points that Pace ranks at, or near, as one of the best college offensive linemen ever. Pace won two Lombardi Awards, one Outland Trophy, was a Heisman Trophy finalist, and the first overall selection in the 1997 NFL Draft by the St. Louis Rams.
I was a volunteer recruiting assistant for Ohio State in 1995, and had many opportunities to stand by or near Orlando Pace, who was a sophomore at that time. I have said on more than one occasion that Orlando Pace was without question the most physically massive, intimidating human being I have ever seen. I actually pitied the opposing defensive linemen who had to face him on game days.
Congratulations, Mr. Pace.
