Holding Judgment On Buckeye "Tattoogate"

This won't be a long post, as this story is just now beginning to unfold through various media outlets. Until the investigation is concluded, it is my opinion that it does no good to speculate on which player(s) were involved, if they are going to be suspended for the Sugar Bowl, etc.

Let the process play out, and then Ohio State fans, myself included, can offer commentary. Until then, I will continue to enjoy this holiday season, and I hope everyone out there who reads this blog is doing the same.

  1. I think the five game suspension feels a bit rough but fair. It's disappointing to hear some of the leading players abuse the awards and traditions this way. The old saying of "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make them drink" is apt.

  2. Gretchen: Thanks for the comments.

As I wrote in another post, this is a chance for Ohio State to move on and forward from this mess. Act as though these players all went early for the NFL Draft, and proceed accordingly. It's a shame all 5 will be forever tainted by these activities, but what's done is done.

    Have a Merry Christmas!
