Chip Minnich: Like many people, football has long been a passion of mine. In 1995, I was fortunate enough to be given an opportunity to volunteer as a recruiting assistant for The Ohio State University. While I received no public accolades nor any salary, the references I earned as a volunteer were enough for me to earn a summer internship in the scouting department of the Washington Redskins in 1996. I have since left the world of professional scouting, but the friendships I made during my internship and the passion I have for the game is as strong as ever.
